Convert.diy does not upload your files. Every conversion happens locally inside your web browser using WebAssembly and the HTML Canvas API. Your images and documents are never transmitted to us or any third party, and we never see, store, or process their contents.

What we collect

Convert.diy itself does not require an account and does not collect personal information about the files you convert. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, which converters are popular).

Advertising & cookies

This site is supported by advertising. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your activity. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For visitors in the EU/UK, a consent banner governs whether personalised ads are shown.

Third-party libraries

To convert certain formats, the site loads open-source code (such as libraries for HEIC, TIFF, PDF and AVIF) from public CDNs. These requests are made by your browser to fetch code only — your files are not sent with them.
